A drug trafficking and firearm investigation has led to three suspects being held behind bars, says DRPS.
The three are facing charges after a drug trafficking and firearm investigation by the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit.
On Thursday, April 30, investigators with the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit concluded a drug trafficking and firearm investigation involving three males.
Gun and Gang Unit investigators, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, and Drug Enforcement Unit, executed search warrants at three residences in Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa.
As a result, a loaded Glock firearm, a loaded prohibited extended magazine, a sawed-off prohibited rifle, cash, and drugs were located and seized.
A 17-year-old male from Whitby, a 19-year old from Ajax, and a 17-year old from Whitby were all held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
At the time of this investigation the 17-year-old boy from Whitby was already bound by curfew conditions.
