Three Torontonians held for Pickering shooting

Durham police investigators have arrested three suspects after a shooting incident in Pickering last week.

Investigators from West Division identified three suspects who are charged with numerous firearms-related offences after the victim was grazed with a bullet while seated in a vehicle on Brock Street in Pickering, said a police media release.

Vishan Veerapan, age 31, of Goodall Road in Toronto, Narindra Mahadeo, age 33, and Ryan Mohan, age 30, both of Glencairn Avenue in Toronto, all face 13 firearms-related charges each including: Careless Use of a Firearm; Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound; Aggravated Assault; Pointing a Firearm; Weapons Dangerous and Possess Loaded Firearm. They were all held for bail hearings.
