Tractors stolen from two Oshawa churches

Durham Police are looking for suspect(s) after two tractors were stolen from two separate churches in Oshawa.

Sometime between August 23 to August 29, unknown suspects broke into a shed at the New Apostolic Church on Laval Street and stole a John Deere riding lawn mower and other lawn equipment from within.

On September 2, members of the Grace Lutheran Church on Cromwell Avenue in Oshawa reported that someone broke into the garage overnight and stole a silver 1946 Ford 8N tractor and a 1920 Carren antique 3 h.p. inboard gas boat engine.

The stolen machines are very heavy and the suspect(s) would have had to tow them off the property.

If anyone has any information pertaining to these stolen items or suspect information, please contact D/Cst. Wright of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext.1738.
