Two caught while trying to steal from Hydro One field

Durham Police said two males are facing charges after breaking into a Hydro One field in Oshawa.

On Monday, December 30, at about 10 am, officers say they responded to a break-and-enter at the Hydro One field, located at 2745 Townline Road. Two males cut numerous locks and entered several buildings located on a Hydro One field, in an attempt to steal supplies. Officers located both suspects on the property and took them into custody without incident.

A 28-year-old male and a 44-year-old male, both from Oshawa, were charged and released on an undertaking. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
