Two found with stab wounds… charged with assault

Durham Police yesterday said a 22-year-old male and a 31-year-old male were located with stab wounds in Oshawa on Monday night.

On October 11 at about 11 pm, members from Central East Division were called to Centre Street and Hall Street for a stabbing. Police arrived and located the 31-year-old male with a non-life threatening stab wound and was taken to a local hospital.

A member of the K-9 Unit assisted officers with searching the area and located a second victim who had some injuries consistent with a stabbing altercation. The 22-year-old male suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital, police said.

Police received little information regarding the stabbing.

The 22-year-old male of Oshawa was charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm; Assault with a Weapon; Carry Concealed Weapon; Possess Weapon for Committing Offence and Possess Schedule I Substance (cocaine).

The 31-year-old male of Oshawa was charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm; Assault with a Weapon; Carry Concealed Weapon and Possess Weapon for Committing Offence.

They were both released on Undertakings.
