Two held for robbing elderly women’s homes

Two men are facing numerous charges following two break and enters that occurred in early March.

On March 3, members from Central East Division responded to a break and enter on Lasalle Avenue in Oshawa. An elderly female homeowner reported that two males entered her residence through a rear window, while she was sleeping. The suspects stole a number of personal items, including jewelry and cash before exiting the residence through a side door, said a police statement.

On March 5, uniform officers from Central East Division responded to another break and enter on Mohawk Street in Oshawa. The elderly female homeowner reported that her kitchen was disturbed and some personal belongings were missing.

Following an investigation, police arrested of two individuals from Oshawa in relation to these incidents.
