Two shooting victims taken to Toronto trauma centres

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said two victims of a shooting in Oshawa were transported to trauma centres in Toronto.

Investigators from DRPS Central East Division are investigating a shooting from overnight at approx 12:30 am, said a police tweet.

It said the incident occurred behind Glen Street Public school. Two male victims were taken to Toronto trauma centres with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the suspects fled in foot. No suspect descriptors were available till late yesterday.
