Temporary closures of waste units in Oshawa, Brock

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that the Oshawa and Brock waste management facilities (WMF) will be temporarily closed to the public to accommodate the installation of new scales.

It said the Oshawa WMF (1640 Ritson Road North in Oshawa) is scheduled to close from October 19 to 24, reopening on October 25 at 8 am.

The Brock WMF (C22480 Brock Sideroad #17 in Brock) is scheduled to be closed from October 31 to November 4, reopening on November 5 at 8 am.

They are being close to accommodate the installation of new scales. Users are encouraged to delay trips, make alternative arrangements or visit the Scugog WMF at 1623 Reach Street in Port Perry, during the closure.
