Whitby, in partnership with the Brooklin North Landowners Group, has initiated a study to design the major roads needed for the growth of the Brooklin area.
The Brooklin area is expected to undergo significant changes over the next 20 to 30 years as a result of future development and community growth. To support this growth in a community-focused and sustainable manner, area plans identified the need to develop a supporting network of roads.
This study will help to determine:
- Where roads should be located;
- What roads and intersections should look like; and,
- How any impacts of the roads may be mitigated.
Through the study, residents will be asked for their feedback on:
- Features to be included in the road designs;
- Evaluation of the designs and resident priorities; and,
- Any impacts the designs may present.
