Young life lost as woman crashes car into home

Durham Police said a female has died after a vehicle crashed into a home in Oshawa early Sunday morning.

On May 26 at about 4:25 am, members from East Division responded to Glenbourne Court in Oshawa for reports of a single motor vehicle that had crashed into a home.

A 37-year-old female died on the scene as a result of the collision. No one in the home was injured. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, said police.

Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area will be closed for several hours while evidence was collected.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
