200 stopped in Oshawa during Saturday ride night… all clear

DRPS Traffic Services reported not a single driver was found to be impaired on Saturday night.

Some 200 drivers were stopped.

Members of East Division and Central East Division Community Response Units, along with Traffic Services, conducted a RIDE line in Oshawa on Saturday night.

“Approximately 200 vehicles were stopped resulting in one roadside test (a pass),” said a DRPS alert.

“Thank you for driving sober Oshawa,” it said.

Maple Syrup Festival

DRPS North Division officers reported attending the “great day” at the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival.

“Always a pleasure connecting with our community and being part of such a well-supported local event,” it said.
