Thief breaks into locked store cabinets and steals phones

Durham police are searching for a male who broke into a kiosk at the Shops at Pickering City Centre and stole several cell phones and electronics.

Last October 20 at about 8:30 am, a male attended the Shops at Pickering City Centre located at 1355 Kingston Road and broke into locked cabinets of the Freedom Mobile kiosk. The male stole numerous cell phones and electronic devices before fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as: male, Brown, approximately 30-40 years-old, with a medium build, and a black goatee. He was wearing a grey baseball style hat, black shirt, grey pants, and grey shoes.

Anyone that has any cellphone, dash cam, surveillance footage, or any information about this incident is asked to contact Det. Obront of the West Crime Team at 1-888-579-1520 x 1905.
