Oshawa witnessed some 2,275 power outages in different parts of the city yesterday, according to tweeeted announcements by Oshawa Power.
The utility firm did not mention the cause of the widespread outages, which seemed to have mostly affected the southern parts of the city.
Oshawa appears to have frequent power outages.
The city council has approved a 1.41% rise in 2021 property tax. Hopefully, the operating budget would address the ageing power infrastructure of the city.
