254 people have already died across Ontario this year: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division has reported that speeding and aggressive driving has been the #1 killer in collisions investigated by the OPP across the province.

It said so far 254 people have been killed, including 38 motorcyclists.

OPP said 18 people have died in the water, most were not wearing a life jacket, and 17 people have died on their ATV on trails.

Seven people died in collisions last year just over the Labour Day Long Weekend, said the OPP advising

motorists to keep their eyes up and arrive safely.
