Ajax has announced a public meeting to discuss a residential project that will add 327 homes to the township.
The Town of Ajax in receipt of a Zoning By-law Amendment Application and Draft Plan of Subdivision Application, submitted by Estates of Northgate Inc., for a total of approximately 327 dwellings, said a town statement.
The project is located at 1641 Church Street North.
It said the developer is proposing a residential subdivision consisting of single detached dwellings, street townhouse dwellings, lane based townhouse dwellings, a natural heritage system block, public roads/lanes, and road widening, servicing, and walkway blocks.
The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment Application (Z3/21) is to permit the proposed uses and to set site-specific development standards to facilitate the proposed development. The purpose of the Draft Plan of Subdivision Application (S-A-2021-01) is to establish the necessary lots, blocks, and right-of-ways to facilitate the proposed development.
The township is inviting residents to attend a public open house to learn more about the development proposal, identify any concerns, and to provide comments. The public open house will be held electronically on Thursday, December 9 from 7 to 9 pm.
