$5.45 million cannabis haul from three Clarington raids

Durham Police said several suspects are in custody following the seizure of a large amount of cannabis in Clarington.

On Thursday, November 2, members of the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the DRPS K9 unit, and the OPP executed three Cannabis Act search warrants in Clarington.

As a result of the search warrants, more than 5,250 illegal cannabis plants and 130 lbs. of illegal dried cannabis were located and seized. The combined estimated value of all items seized is more than $5,451,000.

Two suspects of No Fixed Address and two from Markham were charged and released on an undertaking. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
