A vehicle crash in Uxbridge has left a 56-year old man with serious, life-altering injuries according to Durham police.
On Tuesday, September 8, at around 4:10 pm, members of North Division responded to a collision in the area of Regional Road 47 and Uxbridge Concession Road 2.
The vehicles involved were a Yamaha motorcycle travelling eastbound on Regional Road 47 and a grey Toyota Tacoma travelling northbound on Uxbridge Concession Road.
As a result of the collision, the 56-year-old man sustained serious, life-altering injuries and was transported to a Toronto-area trauma hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
The 56-year old woman, who is the driver of the Toyota; remained on scene and cooperated with officers.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The cause of this collision remains under investigation.

Whitby Crash
Durham police yesterday reported a road closure in the Town of Whitby.
Winchester Road East is closed from Princess Street to Queen Street for a collision investigation. Thank you for avoiding the area, police said.
The incident happened in the Brooklin district. The roadway was later reopened.
