A 46-year-old Oshawa man has been charged with historical sexual assaults on two separate victims under the age of ten, according to Durham Police.
Between 1984 and 2003, the suspect is alleged to have sexually assaulted two young females who were known to him. The victims recently came forward to police with allegations of sexual assault. On Tuesday, September 10 the male was arrested without incident.
Steven Read is charged with Sexual Assault x2; Expose Genitals to Person Under 16 and Gross Indecency. He was released on a Promise to Appear.
