Lane shifts coming to Thickson Road North in Brooklin

Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane shifts on Thickson Road North (Regional Road 26) in the Town of Whitby’s Brooklin community.

The lane shifts will be in effect from August 5 to October 31, though the timeline may be impacted by unfavourable weather conditions.

The work zone spans 250 metres south and 250 metres north of Columbus Road. Both northbound and southbound lanes will be affected.

According to Durham Region, the lane shifts are necessary to safely construct new intersections that support ongoing development in the area.
