‘Suspicious’ male turns out to be GO station stabber

A suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing at the Pickering GO station has been arrested, according to Durham police.

On Thursday, July 31, at about 9:40 am, officers from Central East Division responded to a report of a suspicious person near John Street West and Nassau Street in Oshawa. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the individual without incident.

A 30-year-old male of no fixed address was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
