Pickering GO Stabbing: Do not approach suspect

Durham police have identified a suspect in connection with a stabbing that occurred at the Pickering GO station earlier this week.

According to police, officers from West Division were called to the station at 1322 Bayly Street around 12:05 am on Monday, July 28, after receiving reports of an armed person. Investigators say the victim was walking to their car in the parking lot when they were approached and stabbed by the suspect, who then fled the scene heading north. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old white male, about 5’10” with a slim build and short brown hair. Police say he is known to travel on the GO train between Oshawa and Oakville.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Police advise the public not to approach the individual and to call 9-1-1 immediately if seen.
