Victim approaching car stabbed in Pickering GO parking

Durham police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect after a stabbing on Monday at the Pickering GO station.

According to police, officers from West Division were called to the station at 1322 Bayly Street around 12:05 am on Monday, July 28, in response to a report of an armed person. Investigators say the victim was walking to their car in the parking lot when they were approached and stabbed by an unknown man.

The suspect fled northbound before officers arrived. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black sweater and red pants. A photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.drps.ca.
