Durham Region has announced several road restrictions over the coming days spread across Oshawa, Pickering and Whitby, as well as ongoing roadworks in Brock.
Oshawa: There are upcoming lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in Oshawa from October 14 to November 14.
The region said northbound lane restrictions will be in place on from Bond Street to Richmond Street, to safely remove a water service and install new streetscaping in support of new development.
Pickering: The Regional Municipality also announced lane restrictions on Liverpool Road (Regional Road 29) in the City of Pickering from October 15 to November 15.
Southbound lane restrictions will take place on Liverpool Road, from Kingston Road (Regional Highway 2) to Highway 401, to allow for the installation of Enbridge Gas infrastructure.
Brooklin, Whitby: The region said there will be lane restrictions on Thickson Road North (Regional Road 26) in the Village of Brooklin, in the Town of Whitby, from October 21 to December 22.
Lane restrictions will be in place on Thickson Road North, from Carnwith Drive East to Baldwin Street North, to safely install a watermain in support of new development.
Stellar Drive, Whitby: There are upcoming lane restrictions on Stellar Drive (Regional Road 25) in the Town of Whitby from October 20 to 31.
Lane restrictions will be in place on Stellar Drive, from 850 metres to one kilometre west of Thornton Road South (Regional Road 52), to safely install a storm service in support of new development.
Lake Ridge Road, Brock: There are ongoing lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the Township of Brock, until November 8.
These are on Lake Ridge Road from 340 metres north of Regional Road 12 to the south side of Highway 48, to complete road paving.
