A joint police and Ontario Ministry of Transport initiative has resulted in 61 tickets in just two days for failing to move over or slow down in Durham.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP Highway Safety Division) said Thursday over the past two days, Whitby OPP partnered up with Ontario Transport and DRPS to conduct a #MoveOverLaw initiative on Highway 115 in Clarington.

▪️61 additional HTA charges
▪️1 criminal charge for driving while prohibited
Police advised drivers to always move over and slow down when you see flashing lights – it’s the law and it saves lives.
