Durham police are searching for at least four suspects after a jewelry store robbery at the Shops at Pickering City Centre.
This is the second robbery at the same store within three months. The store was robbed last October 21 in a similar manner (see below).
On Thursday, January 15, around 5:35 pm members of West Division responded to a robbery call at Peoples Jewellers located in the Shops at Pickering City Centre at 1355 Kingston Road.
Four masked suspects entered the jewelry store began smashing display cases. The suspects stole a quantity of jewelry before fleeing the mall in a vehicle.
No employees suffered any physical injuries, police said.
Anyone that was in or around the mall between 5 and 6 pm and may have cell phone or dashcam video or information is asked to contact police.
