Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday reported a heart warming story that occurred earlier in the year.
On February 11, DRPS’ East Division 911 Communications received a call for a male who had fallen into Lake Ontario.
Within minutes, officers arrived on scene and located the male and pulled him out of the freezing water.
BWC footage captured the quick thinking and brave actions by the officers involved.
DRPS also reported that due to the “excellent work and quick thinking by our officers”, they were happy that the outcome was a positive one and the man is doing well.
