Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said in 2025, its Human Trafficking Unit investigated 231 incidents.
“As a result, 192 victims or at-risk individuals were identified and provided with services,” police said.
Today, February 19, from 10am-6pm, DRPS will be at the Oshawa Centre, where its members and community partners will provide resources, answer questions, and share important information on how you can help identify and prevent trafficking in our community.
