Another flees Canada after buying from Hyundai Pickering

Durham police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who has fled Canada after fraudulently using documents to purchase a vehicle in Pickering.

In July 2025, investigators from the Financial Crimes Unit (FCU) began an investigation into the fraudulent purchase of a vehicle after they were contacted by the staff of a dealership in Pickering.

The 29-year old suspect from Romania fled the country within a week of purchasing the vehicle. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca
