Oshawa Creek Recreation Trail to be extended to Windfields

The City of Oshawa is preparing detailed designs to pave and extend the existing Oshawa Creek Recreation Trail to add to the city’s multi-use recreational trail network.

The proposed trail will extend from Conlin Road East north to Britannia Avenue East and Britannia Avenue East north to Windfields Farm Drive East.

Planned improvements include:

  • 3m wide asphalt trail paving
  • rest areas with benches
  • native shade tree planting
  • installation of P‑gates and wayfinding signage
  • permitting and coordination with the local conservation authority

The city is seeking comments related to the accessibility of the recreational trail, such as rest areas, viewing areas, and amenities along the trail.
