Environment Canada predicts snow squalls on Friday throughout the day for northern Durham.
The total local snowfall forecast amounts of 10 to 15 cm. Expect reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow, said Environment Canada.
Strong wind gusts of 50kmh are expected and will lead to low visibility in blowing snow. Snow squalls are expected to weaken Friday evening.
Travel may be hazardous. Roads and walkways may be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
