The Township of Brock has announced the sale of four plots of land by public tender.
- The first plot is at B40452 Centre Road, Beaverton. According to the last returned assessment roll, the assessed value of the land is $553,000. Minimum tender amount is $ 54,015.90.
- Next is S16190 and S16520 Highway 12, Sunderland. The assessed value of the land is $ 2,189,000. Minimum tender amount is $ 112,816.10.
- Third is at Twmarc Avenue. The assessed value of the land is $ 17,700 and the minimum tender amount is $ 8,142.36.
- The final plot assessed value is $ 17,700, and the minimum tender amount is $ 8,219.86.
Tenders will be received from the public until 3 pm local time on March 30, at the Brock Township Office, 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington. The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day as soon as possible, said a township statement.
It said tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be accompanied by a deposit of at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.
