Cadillac Escalade carjacked from school parking lot

Durham Police are looking for two males after an armed carjacking at a school parking lot in Pickering.

On Saturday, July 6 at about 8:20 pm, members of West Division responded to an armed carjacking at a school parking lot in the area of Westcreek Drive and Oakburn Street.

The victim, who runs a chauffeur business, was contacted to pick up a client in the parking lot. While the victim was waiting, he was approached by two suspects who entered his vehicle and made threats toward him, said a police report.

After the suspects forced the victim out of his vehicle, they fled the area in the stolen black Cadillac Escalade.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

Investigators are asking anyone with dashcam, cellphone, surveillance footage, or any information about this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
