Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said officers from East Division responded to call regarding a stolen vehicle at a location in Clarington.
Two stolen vehicles were recovered and one party was arrested. The investigation continues, it said.
The call came from a victim at a business who was able to track his stolen vehicle to a specific location, and provided an address, police said.
It said officers located two stolen vehicles at the site. One person was arrested after a brief pursuit.
