The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road, Simcoe Street South and Gibbons Street.
Lane restrictions will be in place on Taunton Road East, from 110 to 400 metres east of Wilson Road North in Oshawa, on the day and night July 4 to October 6. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
The municipality said the restrictions are to safely construct a new intersection in support of new development.
Simcoe Street South
The municipality said lane restrictions are also in place daily on Simcoe Street South, from Kawartha Avenue to Harbour Road, in the City of Oshawa, from July 3 to 21, daytime only.
The lane restrictions are in place to safely install water, sanitary and sewer services for a new development.
Gibbons Street
The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that Gibbons Street will be closed to through traffic. No through access will be available for emergency vehicles.
Road closure and detour signs will be posted in accordance with provincial standards, it said.
It will be closed between Llewellyn Avenue and Creighton Avenue fromJuly 4 until July 7, to install sanitary and water services.
