Coming Bowmanville Avenue closure in Clarington

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced an upcoming road closure of Bowmanville Avenue in the community of Bowmanville, in the Municipality of Clarington.

Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57), will be closed between King Street (Regional Highway 2) and Stevens Road from July 21 at 9 pm to July 24 at 5 am.

Unfavorable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.

It said the road closure is part of the Bowmanville Avenue widening and reconstruction project. Learn more at durham.ca/BowmanvilleAveConstruction.

Emergency access will be maintained during the closure, and detour routes will be posted in advance, it added.
