Loose cargo, door open… disaster waiting to happen

DRPS Traffic Services yesterday warned residents and commercial road users to be careful about their loads, after stopping this vehicle (above) in Ajax.

“Driving down Bayly Street in Town of Ajax with an open rear door and insecure cargo within… if you zoom in you’ll also see a pump truck near the rear. This was a disaster waiting to happen,” said a police tweet.

Tint, no plate, mud guards, bad tires…

Meanwhile, DRPS North Division officers said they have charged a driver for multiple violations of the Highway Traffic Act in Cannington (see below image).

“Driver was charged for front window tinted, no front plate, improper tires and no mud guards,” they said.

“Please confirm your vehicle conforms to the standards prescribed in the Highway Traffic Act,” officers added.
