‘Dangerous’ Pickering shooting suspect arrested

Durham police have arrested the 33-year-old male suspect wanted after a shooting in Pickering left two people in hospital with serious injuries.

On Saturday, August 16 at approximately 1:10 am, members from West Division were called to a parking lot in the area of Liverpool Road and Kingston Road for reports of shots being fired.

Officers arrived on scene and located two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

A 33 year old male from Bradford is facing numerous charges. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
