Daylight teen stabbing sends 16-year old to hospital

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after a stabbing Monday afternoon in Oshawa.

On September 11 at around 5:20 pm, members of Central East Division responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Oxford Street and Venus Crescent, in Oshawa.

Officers located a 16-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local area hospital, said a police statement.

The suspect is described as male, Black, 5’8”, 15-16 years-old, slim build, with curly hair. He was wearing a surgical mask on his face, and a red sweater.
