A young person, who had been reported missing earlier this month, has been confirmed as dead after a body was found in Pickering.
Durham Police yesterday said on Sunday April 14 at about 5:30 pm, members from West Divisions were called to the area of Valley Farm Road and Finch Avenue in Pickering for reports of a person located deceased.
A post-mortem examination has been completed/
It has been confirmed that the person is the 19-year-old male who was announced as missing on April 5 from Pickering.
