Police searching for two vehicles seen near ‘suspicious’ fire

Durham Police are looking to speak with the occupants of two vehicles that were in the area of a suspicious fire.

On Wednesday, April 10, at about 2:50 pm, members of East Division, who were on proactive patrol in the area of Stapleton Road and Concession Road 4 in Clarington when they came across a working fire.  The fire department attended the scene and deemed the fire to be suspicious, said a police statement.

Two vehicles were seen in the area at the time of the incident and investigators are looking to speak to the occupants of both vehicles.

  • Vehicle #1 – Older grey van
  • Vehicle #2 – Newer red SUV
