Description of suspect who shot at Ajax home

Durham Police investigators are calling for home security or dash cam footage as the investigation into a shooting incident in Ajax continues.

On January 22 at about 2 pm, a male and female were seen driving a white vehicle in the area of Knapton Avenue and Cedar Street in Ajax. The male exited the vehicle and fired several shots at a house before getting back in the vehicle and speeding away. No injuries were reported. Officers attended and canvassed the neighbourhood for information. Multiple shell casings were recovered, police said.

The male suspect is described as Black, 18-25 years old, about 5’5″ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The female suspect in the passenger seat of the vehicle is described as South Asian, about 18-25 years old. She was wearing a red coat.

The vehicle is described as a newer model Toyota, four-door white sedan.
