Double-sized stop sign installed for people who don’t…

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) East Division yesterday announced that a new big stop sign was installed today at Reg Road 3/Old Scugog Road in Enniskillen, for both east- and west-bound traffic.

“The new sign is twice the size and stems from complaints of vehicles not stopping,” said a police tweet.

This was a joint effort with our traffic officer, the region, and the Enniskillen community, it added.

DRPS East Division also reported that another new street sign in Oshawa has been put up.
“No left-hand turns into the Walmart parking lot when you are westbound on Coldstream,” said another tweet.
It said the fine for disobeying the sign under HTA sec 182 (2) is $110 and two demerit points.
