Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday reported that a Durham driver has been caught zipping past at 101 kph over the speed limit.
The male motorist in Whitby was clocked doing 181 km/hr in an 80 kph zone yesterday at Lakeridge/Peleshok Drive, DRPS said.
Not only does he face Careless Driving and Stunt Driving charges, his car has been impounded and his licence suspended for seven days.
“PLEASE slow down and keep our roadways safe,” requested the DRPS.
