Driving instructor with students caught speeding

God knows what kind of example the instructor was setting to the three student drivers in the car.

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers from the North Division, said on Tuesday, a driving school instructor, with three students late for their driving test, was stopped for speeding.

The instructor was 40kmh above the speed limit in Brock.

“Please slow down and obey the speed limit, police said.

DRPS East Division also cautioned drivers to slow down after they caught speeding drivers in a construction zone on Harmony Road, north of Conlin Road.

Two motorists were caught and charged with stunt driving at 105kmh and 110kmh in a 60-zone.

They also received six demerit points, 14-day impound and a 30-day licence suspension.

One of them was a G2 novice driver, police said.

DRPS Traffic Services on Wednesday were cruising along Taunton Road and Rosebank Road in the City of Pickering, when a driver passed them in the curb lane.
