Drug trafficker arrested, charged… and released

A male suspect is facing drug trafficking charges after members of North Division Community Response Team concluded an investigation.

On Tuesday, January 17 at about 11:40 pm, members of North Division Community Response Team, with the assistance of the Guns and Gangs Unit, took a male suspect into custody for drug trafficking. A warrant was executed at a residence in Port Perry, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, Percocet, and Canadian currency, with an estimated combined value over $12,000, said a Durham Police statement.

The suspect from Scugog was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
