The Town of Ajax said it is in receipt of Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Applications, submitted by 190 Westney Holdings, proposing a mixed-use development consisting of two towers of up to 60-storeys in height.
The towers will be connected by a podium, for a total of approximately 1,175 dwelling units. The proposed podium will consist of commercial space (approximately 3,766 m2 of gross floor area), hotel suites, and structured parking. Outdoor amenity space is proposed on the roof of the podium and underground parking is also proposed, said a town statement.
The purpose of the Official Plan Amendment (OP21-A2) and Zoning By-law Amendment (Z4/21) Applications are to facilitate the future development of the subject lands. The development proposal pertains to the lands municipally known as 190 Westney Road South.
There will be a public open house about this development proposal, to be held electronically on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
