Knife-wielding robber grabs Circle K cash and flees

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after the robbery of a convenience store in Oshawa.

On Monday, January 16 at around 2:10 am, members of Central East Division were called to the Circle K convenience store on Wentworth Street West for a commercial robbery. The suspect entered the store armed with a knife and made a demand for cash. The suspect stole cash and fled eastbound on Wentworth Street, said a police statement.

The victim did not receive any physical injuries. Officers searched the area, with negative results.

The suspect is described as male, White, 20’s, 5’6” tall. He wore a cream-coloured hoodie and carried a red plastic bag.
