Woman charged for head-on crash that killed three

Durham Police said after a lengthy police investigation, officers have now laid charges against a 32-year-old woman after a collision that claimed three lives.

On July 1 at about 11:20 am last year, officers from North Division were called to Lakeridge Road North of the Thorah Concession 4 in Brock Township for a two-vehicle collision. Three people were pronounced deceased at the scene, and two suffered serious injuries. The two parties were transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

The suspect from Beaverton was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
