Congratulations goes out to the DRPS Pipes and Drums after an amazing trip to Scotland, where the band was placed 5th overall out of 23 bands at the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow.

They also played at a number of other piping events during their trip and took home more wins, including:

  1. North Berwick: 2nd place in Grade 4 and 4th place in Grade 3
  2. Bridge of Allan: 3rd place in Grade 3 and 1st place in Grade 3.

Excellent work by all members of the band and a special thank you goes out to the Pipe Major and Durham Regional Police Constable Mike Lasseter and Lead Drummer Ted Berlinghoff, said a DRPS statement.
