Duo stab three in Whitby weekend barroom brawl

Three victims are recovering from stab wounds and police are looking for two suspects after a stabbing in Whitby.

On Saturday, June 10, at about 12:20 am, members from Central West Division attended the Tap and Tankard bar located at 224 Brock Street South in Whitby.

Officers arrived on scene and located three people suffering from stab wounds. Two victims were transported to a Toronto-area Trauma centre where they remain in stable condition, the third is recovering from minor injuries, said a police statement.

Central West officers, assisted by the Tactical Support Unit and the K9 Unit, searched the area but were unable to locate the persons responsible. Police are releasing images of the two suspects and requesting anyone with information to come forward.

Suspect 1: Male, Asian, early 20’s, 5’6” tall, medium build, wearing a New Era Chicago Bears black baseball hat with white logo, black sweater with a logo on the left breast, ripped blue jeans and dark shoes.

Suspect 2: Male, White, early 20’s, 5’8” tall, slim build, full beard, earring in left ear, wearing black baseball hat on backward, a black t-shirt with prescribed written in white on the front and Rx on the back, blue jeans, and black shoes. He is missing the lower portion of his left arm.
